Sydney N. Bateman

Sydney is an associate with the firm. Her practice includes a broad range of civil defense litigation in state and federal court, including personal injury, negligence, medical malpractice, breach of contract, civil rights, premises liability, and wrongful death. Sydney graduated Summa Cum Laude from South Texas College of Law Houston, where she served as an Articles Editor on the South Texas Law Review and was inducted into both Phi Delta Phi Honor Society and the Order of the Lytae. Sydney was also a member of the Varsity Moot Court program at South Texas, and was a finalist in the 2017 Judge John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court Competition. While in law school, she interned with the Honorable Justice Jane Bland on the First Court of Appeals. Sydney is a Certified Mediator.
