Catherine’s practice involves a wide variety of civil defense litigation.  Prior to joining Horne Rota Moos, Catherine worked mostly recently at South Texas College of Law Houston, building the recruitment and outreach programs within the Career Resource Center and counseling law students.

Catherine’s prior law practice in Tucson, Arizona, involved complex commercial litigation and civil securities / bad investment cases.  After law school, Catherine served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Joseph W. Howard, Chief Judge, and the Honorable Virginia C. Kelly, Judge, on the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division 2.

Before attending law school, Catherine spent ten years working in the field of education, including five years working with KIPP and three years teaching high school Physics and Chemistry in Benin (West Africa) as a Peace Corps Volunteer.  Living in Benin, Catherine became fluent in French.
